Graduates gain employment in a variety of settings, including private studio teaching, classroom teaching, and with other organizations or businesses. 

The program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. Instruction in the major area includes courses in music pedagogy, music education, music literature, and the completion of a pedagogical project. Supporting courses involve research methods, introduction to advanced music theory, and further refining of your performance skills.
