Ruben Del Valle, Jr. is an Assistant Professor at Towson University where he teaches Movement and Acting for Musical Theatre in the Theatre Department. Ruben was born and raised in NYC, where he attended the Professional Performing Arts High School studying Musical Theatre. He also holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from AMDA/ The New School, and a MFA in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in NYC. Ruben has appeared on Broadway in The Lion King as Young Simba, was featured in a Musical Theatre Works benefit concert, and originated the role of Jack Scott in Disney's staged version of High School Musical. He has also performed in numerous workshops and staged readings in NYC. He's also taught, directed and choreographed at Minnesota State University Mankato, Nebraska Wesleyan, The Lied Center, Chase Dance Studio in Lincoln, NE, and The Jenny Wiley Theatre in Pikesville, Kentucky.
