Theatre (M.F.A.)

Towson University’s Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts offers an experimental lab environment, a training ground for the total theatre artists.

Our program offers a place to research the potential of theatre arts within the current sociocultural context through practical as well as theoretical experiementation. The program serves artists who are seeking for a time and place to enter into deep personal exploration.


Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
