CyberCorps
Towson University is the recipient of a National Science Foundation Scholarship grant that will provide scholarships for students pursuing studies in computer science with a focus in computer security. This award recognizes Towson University as a leader in providing cutting-edge cyber security education to our students.
For a five-year period, the CyberCorps program will offer two-year scholarships to students. Each recipient will receive full tuition, books, a stipend of approximately $22,000, an allowance for travel to professional conferences and health insurance.
The program’s goal is to develop qualified computer security professionals who will join the state and federal workforce and secure the national information infrastructure.
