Dr. Jing Tian is an Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at Towson University. She received her bachelor's degree from China University of Mining and Technology and her Master's degree from the University of Texas-Pan American. Then she went on to earn her Ph.D. in mathematics from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Towson University, she worked as a post-doctoral scholar at the University of South Florida. Her research interests are in Partial Differential Equations, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Mathematical Physics. She is enthusiastic about teaching and has 7 years of classroom teaching experience.
