Career & Internship Support

We are committed to finding opportunities for our students, both while they are students at Towson and after graduation

Is an internship right for you? Where do you find one? Can one be used as credit toward graduation? And what about after graduation -- grad school or a job? And what kind of job does this major help you get? In the department of Physics, Astronomy & Geosciences, every student is paired with an adviser from the faculty that most closely aligns with their interests. The adviser will help create the roadmap to graduation -- classes to take and when to take them -- but will also serve as a link to the world beyond Towson. They can help you identify appropriate internships and research opportunities and suggesting options for the future based on your interests and abilities.

On this page are some of the possibilities you may wish to investigate further or discuss with your adviser.
