Women in Science Forum

The Women in Science Forum provides an opportunity for science and mathematics teachers, students interested in science and mathematics careers, as well scientists and mathematicians from academia and industry to meet, network, and learn about current research.

The Women in Science Forum is a gathering in which we all learn about the varied career paths of women scientists and mathematicians and consider some of the issues involved in the decision to enter the discipline.  Annually the forum serves approximately 100 students (secondary, undergraduate, graduate), their teachers, and mathematics and science faculty from Towson University and other local colleges and universities.

The 2025 Towson University Women in Science Forum will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Science Complex Building
