TU grads soon to earn their stripes
The three-day Towson University Commencement ceremonies will turn more than 3,500 TU students into alumni.

During the six ceremonies taking place over three days, over 3,500 Towson University students will begin new chapters in their lives—as TU alumni.

Here's a look at 2017 Spring Commencement, by the numbers.
Number of College of Business and Economics (CBE) graduates: 499
Number of College of Health Professions (CHP) graduates: 713
Number of College of Liberal Arts (CLA) graduates: 903
Number of College of Education (COE) graduates: 463
Number of College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) graduates: 545
Number of Fisher College of Science and Mathematics (FCSM) graduates: 500
Number of students who graduated during 2017 minimester: 35 (30 undergraduates and five graduates)
Total number of seats available for guests: 3,815
Total number of Commencement programs printed: Over 20,000
Total time it takes to sing/play the alma mater: approximately one minute
Total number of TU alumni: Over 157,000
