MB3 program earns accreditation from American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

The interdisciplinary program located in Fisher College is fully accredited through 2023.

Towson University's Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Bioinformatics (MB3) program within the Jess and Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics has received accreditation from the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).

The interdisciplinary program is fully accredited through 2023. MB3 program graduates are now eligible to take an optional national ASBMB certification exam, and, if successful, have their individual degree certified by the ASBMB.

The organization was founded in 1906 and presently has more than 12,000 members.
