TU tops Morgan in Battle for Greater Baltimore
Towson and Morgan State met in Baltimore Saturday for the second edition of The Battle for Greater Baltimore.

The Towson University football team scored 24 unanswered points to pull away in a 36-10 win at Morgan State to claim the Tigers' second consecutive Battle for Greater Baltimore crown.

With it's third straight win in the series, TU is now 19-6 against Morgan State all-time. Saturday's victory in Baltimore is the first win for the Tigers at Morgan State since 2007.
Quarterback Tom Flacco made his first start for the Tigers, and completed 18-of-28 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns.
Kicker Aidan O'Neill was a perfect 4-for-4 on field goals, becoming the Tigers' all-time leader in field goals.
TU (1-0) visits Wake Forest at noon on Sept. 8.
