Towson University swimmer Saunderson added to U.S. national team

Jack Saunderson, a member of the Towson Tigers swim team, has been added to the U.S. national team.

The U.S. swimming team is hoping a Tiger can remain one of the nation's fastest in water.

USA Swimming released the roster this week for the 2018-2019 national team, and Towson University senior Jack Saunderson is among the 111 swimmers listed after the cut.

Saunderson is one of 26 first-time national-team members, according to Swimming World Magazine.

Saunderson had the third-fastest time in the 100m butterfly at 51.48 seconds, which he recorded this summer at Nationals.
