Towson University has launched a hotline to enable members of the campus community to report ethics or compliance violations.
This week, TU debuts its first-ever ethics hotline — SpeakTU.
SpeakTU allows any Towson University community member or visitor to report faculty, staff, or student employee ethics and compliance violations by calling 877-773-2588 (877-SPEAKTU) or by filing an online report.
“SpeakTU is an important tool to provide our faculty, staff and community members an outlet to report ethics and compliance concerns,” said General Counsel Sara Slaff.
This phone and web-based reporting service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is run by an independent third-party provider, EthicsPoint.
Campus community members or guests can report violations such as: professional misconduct, fraud, theft/embezzlement, employee misconduct, data privacy/integrity issues, research grant misconduct and environmental and safety matters.
