Tigers win again in home opener

Towson University football team tops Citadel in first home game of 2018, improving to 3-1.

The No. 25 Towson University football team celebrated its 50th year of football in style with a dominant offensive showing, defeating The Citadel, 44-27, in front of 7,323 at Johnny Unitas Stadium.

Towson (3-1) earned 608 yards of total offense — 334 rushing and 274 passing.
