As students return to classes Towson University's  Aug. 30, they will encounter a campus and academic buildings that have never looked more spectacular or poised for the great things ahead.

"We are very excited to have our entire campus community—students, faculty, and staff—back together again to experience a fully engaged college experience," says Dr. Melanie Perreault, TU's provost and executive vice president of academic affairs. "I encourage everyone to take full advantage of the incredible academic facilities we have prepared and to attend one of the hundreds of events scheduled for the fall semester, whether it is on the athletic fields, in a concert hall, or in a classroom. It is a great time to be a Tiger."

Take in these incredible drone shots above TU's campus, which show the beloved Stephens Hall, the stunning and new science complex, the expanding University Union, sprawling recreation fields, the gorgeous College of Fine Arts & Communications building and so much more. See if you can spot bustling uptown Towson, with its more than $1 billion in privately funded construction.
