President Ginsberg begins tenure as TU’s next president
What to know about the university’s 15th president, ways to engage with TU’s new leader

Mark R. Ginsberg, Ph.D., officially joined the university today as TU’s 15th president.
In a message to campus earlier this morning, President Ginsberg shared his excitement for this new beginning and called upon the community to engage with him as he develops goals and priorities for the future for Towson University.
“My hope is to listen and learn more fully about the context of TU—to understand who we are, who we aspire to be and how we can achieve our shared vision for the university,” he wrote.
Ginsberg has already made plans to meet with a number of students, leaders and community groups as part of a campus-wide listening tour. Additional opportunities for all students and employees will be scheduled throughout the remainder of the academic year, updates for which will be shared via email or social media and can be found on the Office of the President website.
