Sights, sounds of New Student Orientation

Get a close look at some of the action happening on campus this summer

While many think a college campus is quiet over the summer, Towson University is full of life—and a lot of noise—as it welcomes incoming students for New Student Orientation.

The Office of New Student and Family Programs will welcome more than 5,000 students and their families throughout the summer, introducing TU’s newest Tigers to campus.

Students will meet orientation leaders and staff, take tours and learn their last to-dos before moving in this August.

Towson University’s visual storytellers Kendall Appleby ’18, Henry Basta ’11, Nick Sibol ’23 and Japhet Chukwuma '24 have been following the action all summer. Here are some of the best photos and videos of the sights and sounds of New Student Orientation.
