For the first time in 25 years students, faculty and staff can buy Coca-Cola products on TU’s campus. As of today, Coke products will be sold at all campus vending machines, dining locations, retail locations and athletics venues.

The change is part of a new, exclusive, 10-year pouring rights agreement between Towson University and The Coca-Cola Company. It enables TU to sell a variety of Coke products, including Sprite, Fanta, Pibb Xtra, Barq’s, Seagram’s and MinuteMaid. Simply Juices, Gold Peak Tea, Powerade and Monster Energy drinks will also be available, as will Fairlife milks and Bodyarmor sports drinks.

“This is a happy day for many Tigers,” says Vice President for Student Affairs Vernon Hurte. “Coca-Cola products are recognized and enjoyed across the world. We’re pleased to give students, faculty and staff the opportunity to enjoy them on TU’s campus too.”

In addition to the standard Coke offerings, Coke Freestyle machines offer customizable drinks in The Den at Paws and West Village Commons. Diners can use the machines to mix and match from more than 100 flavor options, including a range of low- and no-calorie selections.

The locations of TU’s more than 100 vending machines have not changed. Snack vending machines are not impacted.
