TU has many amazing opportunities for students during the spring semester, including making memories and connections through the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life.

Fraternities and sororities have been a fundamental part of TU’s community since the 1960s, promoting academic excellence, friendship, leadership and community service. With more than 2,000 active TU members, joining a Greek organization means engaging with new people and spreading a positive impact throughout neighboring communities.

“The organizations are all surrounded around what they can do for others,” Jodi Evans ‘24, president of Alpha Kappa Alpha, says, “I specifically joined my organization because of our purpose to serve all of humankind. There are people hurting and struggling everywhere, and it is our job to shine light in their darkness.”

Spring Recruitment and Orientation | Feb. 5 – 19

Students interested in joining a Greek organization must complete an eligibility form and register upon orientation.

The recruitment and orientation processes are different for each council and organization and may have specific membership requirements for students.

Greek Councils and Organizations

Greek Life at TU is organized in five governing bodies: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), the Panhellenic Association (PHA), the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) and the Independent Greek Council (IGC). Each council contains organizations that have their own interests and identities.
