What you need to know for winter break
From updated hours of operation to important reminders, here’s what you need to know
Check out all the details you need to prepare for your well-earned winter break.
Housing
All traditional residence halls will close at 9 a.m. on Tues., Dec. 17, and will reopen at 12 p.m. on Sat., Jan 25. Tigers cannot stay in their dorm rooms over break.

- Membership and Guest Services – Closed
Tues., Dec. 17 to Sat., Jan. 25
All campus recreation facilities are closed.
Counseling Center Services
Mondays through Fridays | 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
The Counseling Center will be closed from Dec. 20 to Jan 1. However, students can use the 24/7 crisis hotline (410-704-2512) to speak with a counselor throughout winter break. Regular hours resume on Jan 2.
Library Services
The library’s hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. from Dec. 17–20. From Dec. 21 – Jan. 1, the library is closed. However, TU affiliates have access to the library 24/7 with their OneCard.
The library hours for minimester will begin Thurs., Jan 2.
BWI and Penn Station Shuttles
Parking and Transportation Services offers a complimentary Winter Break shuttle from TU’s campus to BWI Airport and Baltimore Penn Station for students, faculty, and staff. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations are required. There will be no return shuttles.
