CliftonStrengths

TU provides students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to learn about their strengths and how they can enhance their personal, academic and career aspirations.

Effective leaders are aware of their talents and work to sharpen them. CliftonStrengths helps you reach greater success by understanding your natural strengths and creating a culture that honors and leverages each person's talents to build a better, more complete group.

Discover Your Strengths

First, check to see if you have taken the assessment. You can always access your results by navigating to the Towson University CliftonStrengths website, and logging in through Single Sign On (SSO) using your TU username and password. Your results will be stored for your entire time at TU!

If you have not previously completed the assessment, you can complete the assessment here. The CliftonStrengths assessment is online and will take approximately 35 minutes.

There are several CliftonStrengths sessions throughout the year. At the workshop you will have an opportunity to learn about your top five (5) talents and how to utilize them when you are at Towson University personally/socially, academically, and professionally. Check out our upcoming workshops on Involved@TU.

CliftonStrengths can support your success and engagement as a leader by:

  • Increasing your self-awareness. Know what you do well and find ways to apply your talents authentically.
  • Deepening your appreciation of others' talents. See and understand the unique talents of others.
  • Forming and maximizing teams. Gain insights into how teams can perform to their full potential.
  • Helping others develop their talents. You can lead others to affirm and apply their talents.
