Transfer Credit Information
- ARTSYS — The Articulation System for Maryland Colleges and Universities (ARTSYS) will provide you with the course equivalencies between Maryland community colleges and Towson University.
- Transfer Evaluation System (TES) — An interactive tool that allows advisors to compare course equivalencies between Towson University and other four-year institutions and community colleges in the United States.
- Transfer Petition Form — Prior to enrolling in any coursework at another institution while you are a student at Towson University, you must first fill out the Transfer Petition Form.
- Transfer Course Equivalency Request — Students can submit this petition to have previously evaluated transfer credit reassessed.
Advising Tools
- Academic Standards Committee (ASC) — If a student is seeking an exception to campus policy (ex., a retroactive withdraw) they must submit an appeal through the Academic Standards Committee.
- AP Score Equivalency for TU
- Core Curriculum Course List — An up-to-date listing of the Core Curriculum courses offered at Towson University.
- GPA Calculator — The GPA calculator allows you to determine how your current term will affect your overall GPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average [CGPA]).
- Pass/Fail Docusign — Allows students to opt for a pass/fail grade.
- Third Repeat Petition Form — If a student has failed a class twice, they must submit a third attempt petition form to receive permission from the course department.
- Towson Seminar Course List — The Towson Seminar courses available for the upcoming term.
