Degree Completion Plan
Individualized Degree Completion Plan
If you have 45 or more earned credits (transferred plus Towson University credits), you must complete a Degree Completion Plan (DCP). This DCP is your graduation road map, that takes into account your individual needs along with a course sequence.
Every academic department is different, but there are a few key steps that everyone should follow in preparing to create their DCP.
- review Towson University’s online undergraduate catalog for the recommended plan of study for your major
- review Academic Requirements Report to see which graduation requirements you have met and which you need to complete.
- access the website of your college or department major to find information about how to file a DCP with your advisor or academic department
Your plan is a road map, but can change if your destination (your degree program) changes. But with your DCP in place you will be able to monitor your progress more easily and accurately.
