Graduate Student Handbook
Created by the Graduate Student Association with support from the Office of Graduate Studies, the Graduate Student Handbook is a directory of on-campus resources for new and continuing graduate students. Graduate Catalog
The graduate catalog is the official university resource for all academic policies and procedures for graduate students. Here, you can review program requirements, read course descriptions, check prerequisites, and more.
Graduate Student Association
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) represents the graduate student voice on committees across campus. They also offer workshops, research and professional development funds, and other resources to support student success.

Opportunities and Awards
Graduate Fellowships and Scholarships
Fellowships are awarded annually to students enrolled in a terminal degree program (Ph.D., MFA) by the Office of Graduate Studies. Additional scholarships are available through the Alumni Association and your academic college.
Graduate Research and Creative Achievement Awards
Graduate program directors nominate their top students to the Graduate Studies Committee on an annual basis for Graduate Research Opportunities and Awards.
Thesis and Dissertation Guidelines
The graduate thesis or dissertation is the culmination of a research-based graduate degree. The Guidelines for Preparing Theses and Dissertations contains detailed guidelines to help you navigate the process from creation to submission.
Graduate Space on Campus
Located in room 211 of the Cook Library, the Graduate Reading Room is a dedicated space for quiet study and collaboration. You may access the reading room by swiping your OneCard. If access is not activated, please send your name and TU ID to gkollar AT_TOWSON.

Graduation and Commencement
Once you've completed your degree requirements, you’ll be ready to apply for graduation and celebrate your achievement at commencement. Doctoral students should complete the doctoral student info form to ensure correct bio information is included in the commencement program.
