Degrees to Succeed

Degrees to Succeed is a transfer partnership that will allow you to complete your associate degree at Community College of Baltimore County and transfer credits seamlessly to earn your bachelor’s degree at Towson University.

Benefits 

  • Guaranteed admission: Your admission to TU is guaranteed following successful completion of the Degrees to Succeed program and graduation from CCBC.
    Note that admission to Towson University does not guarantee admission to screened majors that require a separate application process and may require additional prerequisite courses. 
  • Credit transfer: Towson University will accept up to 64 CCBC transfer credits.
  • Transfer scholarships: You will qualify for dedicated transfer merit-based awards up to $1,000 that can reduce your costs at TU.  
  • Co-advising: You will connect with advisers from both schools, ensuring that your coursework from CCBC aligns with your chosen degree program at TU. 
  • TU community: Participants will receive a D2S ID card and will have access to select student activities, sports events, and arts/culture programs.

Check your eligibility.

Discuss this program with your CCBC academic advisor to check your eligibility to participate in the Degrees to Succeed program. Eligibility requirements include:

  • Earned high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Enrolled in an associate degree program at CCBC. 
  • Enroll in the Degrees to Succeed Program within the first year at CCBC or prior to earning 30 credits (including credits earned through transfer, prior learning, or high school/dual enrollment). 
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Complete the form.

Sign in to your CCBC student account to complete the Degrees to Succeed Acknowledgement Form. CCBC will contact TU and share your interest in Degrees to Succeed.
