Eligible Disciplines
Associate degree graduates from the following disciplines are eligible for enrollment in the allied health program. Graduates of associate degree health programs receive a number of different degrees — AAS, AS, AA, etc. — all of which are eligible for participation in the program.
- cardiovascular technologist
- clinical laboratory technician
- dental hygienist
- diagnostic medical technologist
- dietetic technician
- emergency medical technician – paramedic
- health information technician
- massage therapist
- medical assistant
- nuclear medicine technologist
- occupational therapy assistant
- physician assistant
- physical therapist assistant
- radiographer
- radiation therapy technologist
- respiratory therapist
- surgical technologist
- veterinary technologist
If you are an associate degree graduate in a health discipline that is not on the above list, please contact the allied health program coordinator for further information. You may be eligible for admission.
The program has a formal affiliation with a number of community colleges in the state of Maryland including, The Community College of Baltimore County, Frederick Community College, Harford Community College, Howard Community College, and Montgomery Community College. Graduates of those and other colleges, including community colleges outside of Maryland, are eligible for admission to the program. Preferential admission is given to graduates of participating Maryland Community Colleges.
