Grateful for the dedicated work of Towson University in bringing their son home, Sandy Hopkins and Michael Hogan created the William Michael Hogan and Dr. Dana Kollmann Compassion Fund for Forensic Science.
The fund covers professional membership, training, conference participation fees, and associated expenses for a student who demonstrates a passion and aptitude for forensic anthropology and a sensitivity to the lives of those whose physical remains form the subject of study.
Funding also provides the lab with the means to purchase field and laboratory equipment critical to a successful search and related partnership with law enforcement agencies.

Recipients are chosen based on non-discriminatory criteria, such as need and/or merit. The program director will establish the selection process.
