Sociology Minor
Add depth to any major with a better understanding of multicultural views and perspectives and how we are all shaped by the culture in which we live.
The department offers a minor in sociology, which requires the completion of a minimum of 24 units of study, or eight courses. Interpret sociological material, write proficiently, read and synthesize sociological literature, and speak more confidently about sociological issues.
To meet the requirements for the minor, 15 units or five courses total must be taken at Towson University, 12 units must be upper level (300 or higher) courses, and a grade of “C” or better must be earned in all minor courses. View minor requirements in the Undergraduate Catalog.
