Accreditation
In 2024, TU’s initial and advanced teacher preparation programs were granted continued accreditation by the Accreditation Council of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) through Spring 2030.
About CAEP Accreditation
CAEP is the only national accreditor for education preparation recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Receiving accreditation indicates that the institution and its programs meet rigorous standards set forth by the professional education community.
CAEP accreditation is quality assurance based on external peer review. It provides a framework for educator preparation programs to produce successful educators by continuously improving their programs through self-assessment and evidence-based analysis.
Accreditation is the ultimate stamp of approval that TU College of Education is meeting institutional and professional standards in preparing teachers.
