Community Engagement and Leading School Change (Graduate Certificate)
Application Deadlines
The Community Engagement & Learning School Change (Graduate Certificate) is offered primarily through the Towson Learning Network. If you are interested in applying for a future fall or spring cohort (programs vary) please email Graduate Program Director, Dr. Katherine Orlando, korlando AT_TOWSON, for application deadlines and information.
Admission Criteria
- No GRE scores are required.
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 (on a 4-point scale) is required for full admission to the program, and 2.75 is required for conditional admission. GPA calculations may be based upon the cumulative units or the last 60 units of the degree. See graduate admission policies for more information.
Application Requirements
Submit an online application and official transcripts, along with:
- Letter of Recommendation: One letter of recommendation from a current school leader or community partner who can speak to your professional strengths and your leadership skills/potential is required (email address of recommender must be entered on application).
- Personal Statement: A statement (maximum 2 pages) that addresses:
- Why are you interested in pursuing graduate study in Community Engagement and Leading School Change?
- How do you anticipate that participating in this program would impact your work?
