Yes. All Design for UX courses are offered online in the Blackboard environment.

Yes, the courses can be taken as electives and applied to other Towson University graduate degree programs with the permission of that program’s director.
Yes, with the permission of your graduate program director theDesign for UX graduate certificate can earned simultaneously with other Towson University graduate degree programs. Graduation with both credentials must take place at the same time to apply shared credits to both degrees.
Design for UX courses maybe taken in any order, however it is recommended all students begin with ART 610 Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design (3 units) and end with ART765 User Interface (UI) Design (3 units).

Design for UX courses require student access to a reasonably new computer capable of running the current Adobe CC programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and Dreamweaver) and a high-speed internet connection. University minimum technical requirements must be met as well. The requirements can be reviewed on the following webpages:

Tuition and Fees

Enrollment in Design for User Experience (UX) courses requires admission to the Graduate School. Students may apply as a degree seeking student in the Design for User Experience (UX) graduate certificate online. Students enrolled in other graduate programs may enroll in the Design for User Experience (UX) courses with permission from their program director.

Admissions 

The time commitment for each course is the same as that of an on-campus graduate-level Studio course: the equivalent of 4 hours in class and 8-12 hours outside of scheduled class meetings per week. All Design for UX course activities take place asynchronously online.
