Degree Completion Planning
As required by state law, all undergraduate students who have between 45 and 105 credits (earned plus in-progress) and have not already completed an approved plan must complete an Individualized Degree Completion Plan. Contact your academic advisor or the Art Office artdepartment AT_TOWSON with questions about the degree completion planning process.
To complete the plan, you must work on a computer that can access Excel and read a PDF.
Step 1: Download the following:
- Degree Completion Plan Form, an MS Excel document designed specifically for the Art, Art History or Art Education major. Use only this plan form.
- Easy Degree Completion Plan Guidelines + Checklist
- Your [Academic Requirements] found in your [Student Dashboard] in Towson Online Services
- A copy of the Four Year Plan of Study for the major/concentration/track you plan to graduate with, for your catalog year. This is important for those who plan to screen for the BFA. [All catalogs are found on the TU Courses & Catalogs Website. Plans are listed under each major/track/concentration by college.]

Step 2: Complete the plan
Use the Easy Degree Completion Plan Guidelines + Checklist.
Step 3: Email a copy of your completed plan to your academic advisor at least 3 days before your mandatory academic advising meeting.
You and your advisor will review the plan, and when finished and approved, you will both sign the approved plan. You will keep a copy of the signed, approved plan; and your advisor will keep a copy of the signed, approved plan to register with the State.
