Support Us
EMF is calling on alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to help cultivate the next generation of media artists, professionals, and scholars.
Towson University has established a legacy of producing outstanding talent in media
and in film, and for 20 years the Department of Electronic Media and Film has helped
our students hone those specific skills as performers, professionals, scholars and
technicians. The EMF Department Chair and Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication
work to identify and enhance new programs and initiatives that keep our students on
top of technology, trends and practices. Your support will prepare our students for
“action” as the lights go up on their careers.
Supporting our department as a whole allows our chair to direct funds to our areas of greatest need. But you can designate
gifts directly to our students as well:
- The Electronic Media and Film General Scholarship provides support to students at the start of their film and media careers, and your gifts increase the amount of that support
- The Barry Levinson Scholarship honors the Baltimore native and Academy Award-winning director while giving direct support to students each year
- The Neil Fredericks Filmmakers Scholarship and
Michael J. Robinson Scholarship foster the creativity and skill of aspiring filmmakers.
Your gifts provide the most impact for our students, faculty and staff through scholarships, equipment, facilities and more. Without your support, our department and our students cannot reach their full potential. Show your support with a gift to Electronic Media and Film today.
By making a gift, you can directly enrich our program and enhance the student experience. Your support will nurture the creative environment so necessary for students to learn, grow, and excel.
