Keyboard Performance Concentration
If you are committed to the highest level of performance, this concentration offers a comprehensive approach to improving your skills and increasing your confidence as a performer.

In addition to the music core curriculum, you will complete courses in counterpoint, accompanying, keyboard harmony and sight-reading, piano pedagogy and keyboard literature. You are expected to present a junior and senior recital, and take two semesters of lessons in a secondary keyboard instrument or voice.
Our faculty members are recognized for their performance and research activities, and you will have opportunities to work with visiting artists and scholars in master classes. A separate application and performance audition are required for admission to the concentration.
