The classroom/laboratory building is a spacious facility situated on the western edge
of the Field Station campus. In addition to educational facilities, the classroom/laboratory
building contains a large kitchen and can serve as a dining facility for departmental
retreats. There are currently five rustic cabins capable of providing sleeping accommodations
for 40 people.
Equipment
The classroom is equipped for lecture and laboratory sessions. The facilities are
available Monday through Friday during the academic year (September -May). Weekend
field trips must be scheduled in advance.
Brand Identification
The TU Field Station uses this image of a screech owl silhouetted against a full moon
above the Gunpowder Falls River as a graphic identifier. It appears on all student
and faculty posters depicting research conducted at the Field Station.
