Admission Criteria
- A master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a closely related field.
- GRE test scores are optional and may be submitted for review.
Applicants who have a bachelor's degree and excellent academic background in the above mentioned fields are eligible to apply for the combined M.S/Ph.D. program. In the combined program, students must finish all of the master's program requirements before starting the doctoral program.
Application Requirements
Submit an online application, application fee and official transcripts, along with:
- Resume: A current professional resume.
- Letters of Recommendation: A minimum of two letters of recommendation preferably from academic institutions. (Email addresses of recommenders must be entered on application).
- Research Statement: Research statement letter that reflects:
- area of research interest (CS, IS, or IT);
- motivation for applying to the program;
- faculty in the program with research interests close to your own interests (via communication with faculty);
- planned utilization of your degree (academic, industry or research career); and
- strengths of your academic background and career experience.
Additional Requirements for International Applicants
U.S. Immigration requires F1 and J1 students to be enrolled full-time with the majority of their classes taken in-person and on campus.
