Harris STEM Scholarship

The Harris STEM Scholarship is closed for the 2024–2025 academic year. The college will be accepting application submissions for the 2025–2026 academic year from September 1, 2025 through October 31, 2025.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in Fall 2025 (at least 12 credit hours)
  • be pursuing a major in a program housed in the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics
  • maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher
  • demonstrate financial need as defined by the Towson University Financial Aid Office

Preference will be given to first-generation university students.

Award Amount

  • $1,000 one-time non-renewable

Applying for the Harris STEM Scholarship

Candidates applying for the Harris STEM Scholarship should compile a resume (include your TU ID number) and a one-page essay describing your career plans and reasons for pursuing a STEM profession.
