Peer Education Programs

The Health Center offers peer education programs related to sexual violence prevention (SAPE) and sexual health (SHAG).

Through our peer education programs, students receive training and provide programming around critical issues that affect students and the campus community.

Sexual Assault Prevention Educators (SAPE)

Sexual Assault Prevention Educators (SAPEs) are Towson University students who are trained to provide accurate, accessible and helpful information to prevent sexual violence in our communities. SAPEs facilitate workshops and host events on bystander intervention, healthy relationships, and consent.
