Building Bridges Across Maryland Program
The Building Bridges program fosters collaboration and idea sharing between eight institutions, and provides a unique opportunity for support staff to develop themselves.
Program Overview
The Building Bridges program includes a cohort of individuals from each institution, who attend nine sessions. The program is a combination of in person and virtual sessions. Programs begin with a kickoff session that brings participants together to learn what is expected to complete the program and get to know each other. After the final session, participants and their supervisors are invited to attend a formal graduation where they receive a certificate of completion.
Support Staff Cohorts
Cohorts begin early during the month of August. Topics include Discovering Your Strengths, Living the Productive Life, Gaining the Skills that Lead to Success, Networking, Becoming a Champion of Inclusion, Career Planning, and Self-Care.
Alumni Events
Program graduates are sometimes invited back to continue their professional development, reconnect and meet members of other cohorts. Stay tuned for our next alumni event!
