Important Information

Log into your eParking account to buy permits online, add vehicles and appeal or pay citations.

Parking Rules and Regulations (PDF) are enforced year-round.  A permit should be purchased prior to parking on campus. If a permit has not been purchased, Faculty and staff must purchase a daily visitor permit through the ParkMobile App. Visitor permits are valid to park in a designated Visitor or Overflow space. The following types of permits may be purchased for the majority of faculty and staff.

  • Faculty/Staff Permit:  Valid in Faculty/Staff spaces as well as designated Overflow spaces that say "All TU Permits Valid."  Permits purchased later in the year are pro-rated on a weekly basis. Please see the estimated prorated 2022/2023 academic year schedule here
  • Stadium Lot Monthly/Weekly Permit:  Valid in Overflow spaces at stadium lots that say "All TU Permits Valid".  A maximum of two monthly permits may be purchased per year.  No refunds are available.

VERY IMPORTANT:  Each faculty and staff member must have his or her own parking permit. Permits may not be shared.  Individuals are not permitted to register another TU faculty or staff member's or student's vehicle on their parking permit. This includes vehicles that are on campus at different times on the same day. Violators are subject to a $300 fine and vehicle towing at the owner's expense.

Virtual Permit System

Towson University uses a license plate recognition (LPR) system.  This means no need to worry about a hang tag or sticker for your vehicle.  Your license plate is used to verify that you have a valid parking permit.  Make sure you enter your license plate information correctly on your permit application (include all letters and numbers on the plate).

Purchase a Permit or Add a Vehicle

To purchase a parking permit or add a new vehicle onto your existing permit, visit the eParking Portal. Login with your NetID and password.  Permits can be purchased using Visa, Master Card, Discover, payroll deduction (for regular faculty and staff), installment plan, OneCard Doc Dollars or In-Person payment (formerly cash on delivery, C.O.D.)  If you choose the In-Person payment option, you must pay for the permit within five business days of your purchase date or the first date of classes, whichever is later.  Payments are made in person at the Auxiliary Services Business Office. Failure to make payment will result in the permit being canceled and a prorated charge for the time the permit was valid will be assessed. Permits cannot be purchased by phone.
