The CSD offers the following scholarship and grant opportunities to students. The links to information and criteria about these financial awards are listed below.

TU is committed to the academic success of our non-traditional age students and student parents. Please review the eligibility criteria to learn more about the scholarships listed below and to apply to the ones for which you may be eligible.

  • You must apply for each scholarship separately.
  • You must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the FAFSA application.

Charlotte W. Newcombe Endowed Scholarship

The goal of the Charlotte W. Newcombe Scholarship program is to support students 25 and older in the completion of a first bachelor’s degree so they can advance their careers after graduation.

Newcombe scholars participate in a comprehensive cohort-based campus support program.

Mature Reentry Student Scholarships

Eligible Candidates for this scholarship must have experienced a break or breaks in their undergraduate enrollment totaling at least 5 years.

Pathways Scholarship Program

This scholarship provides financial assistance for low-income parents who have completed a community college degree [Associate’s] and are finishing a first undergraduate degree. Pathways scholars also participate in a campus support program.

Barnes-Harris Scholarship Endowment

Offered through Student Success, the goal of the Barnes-Harris Endowment is to support incoming freshmen from metropolitan public high schools, who are enrolled full-time (12 or more credits each term), and who demonstrate financial need.
