The Department of Housing & Residence Life manages 18 co-ed residential communities on campus. These communities range from modern high-rise towers, traditional styled residence halls, and apartment complexes. Residence Life staff members live in each building and work with students to create a community atmosphere.

The central office staff provides administrative support for the entire department and provides assistance and services to students, parents, and the public. Our central staff leadership includes the assistant vice president for Student Affairs, Housing & Residence Life, director of residence life, director of housing operations, assistant director of housing facilities, the four associate directors of residence life for each of our residential areas, IT coordinator, and marketing coordinator.
The operations of Housing & Residence Life central staff are further supported by the facilities staff, housing IT staff, program specialist, and administrative assistants.
Under the direction of the Director of Residence Life, the Residence Life staff oversee all building operations. Staff engage each resident to shape their own collegiate experience, handle conduct and behavioral issues, and provide leadership and learning opportunities to cultivate holistic student development.
Each of our four residential areas is supervised by an assistant director of residence life who works with a/an graduate assistant(s). Our residence life staff includes 16 master's level residence life coordinators and four graduate assistants, including a graduate assistant for International Students & Scholar Office in the Global Village Living Learning Community.
