Congratulations on your decision to attend Towson University in Northeastern Maryland (at HCC). The TU in Northeastern Maryland Checklist below has been developed to assist you in making your transition to TU as smooth as possible.

Find Out if Your Major Has Additional Requirements
Please work with your TU in Northeastern Maryland program coordinator/director/advisor who will help you determine if you meet, or are in the process of meeting, the requirements to enter certain programs. Contact TU in Northeastern Maryland at TUNEMD AT_TOWSON for more information.

Submit Enrollment Deposit
Deadline — Date shown on Offer of Admission letter.
To officially accept our offer of admission, please submit the $200 nonrefundable Enrollment Deposit and your deposit form in your TU Admissions Portal. The deposit will secure your spot in the incoming class and will be applied to your tuition bill.

Activate Your NetID
Activate and check your NetID (email account) and/or personal email accounts.
New student communications may be sent to TU email accounts and/or personal accounts. Remember to check BOTH accounts regularly for new notifications. After August 1, we will only communicate with you using your TU NetID email account.

Register for New Student Orientation
Orientation is required to receive important briefings, review your transfer credit evaluation, and schedule courses.

Complete Pre-Orientation Module
Complete your pre-orientation module before your scheduled orientation date.

Submit Final Official College Transcript
Please request your current college or university to send your official transcript via electronic services (Parchment, Clearinghouse, etc.) or by postal mail to University Admissions once final grades are posted and graduation date is recorded.

Immunization Requirements
Complete immunization requirements through the TU Health Portal (due Jan. 25 for spring, due Aug. 15 for fall).

Complete Three Mandatory Prevention Programs
Complete all three mandatory prevention programs:
- Alcohol
- Prescription Addiction Opioids
- Sexual Violence
You will need your TU ID number, due Jan. 20 for spring, due Aug. 15 for fall.

Learn about Payments
Learn about payments, e-rebates & refunds and your 1098-T consent.
Visit the fall or spring billing schedule to determine your upcoming e-bill due date.
