Is your NetID locked out?
Your NetID will be temporarily locked after multiple bad password attempts within a short period of time. The OTS Technology Support Desk can assist in investigating the source of NetID lockouts.
These self-help tools allow for management of your NetID, as well as other NetID services.
Students, faculty, staff members, retirees, faculty emeriti, and certain guests each use a NetID. Your valid NetID and password allows access to TU’s computing services.
By spring 2025, everyone with a TU NetID will be required to authenticate using Duo when accessing TU systems. Students not yet using Duo can opt in using the "Enroll/manage Duo devices" link below or be auto-enrolled by the university sometime between Feb. 18 - April 30. Learn more at towson.edu/duoproject.
Activate a new NetID (first time users only).
Manage an existing NetID profile or enroll/manage Duo devices. Manage Duo advanced biometrics (like facial recognition) or security keys.
Change a password before it expires. Reset a forgotten or expired password with a one-time passcode or reset a password with existing security questions.
Retrieve a forgotten NetID username.
