Community College Partnerships

Towson University has established partnerships with several Maryland community colleges to help transfer students find their most efficient route to a bachelor’s degree.

Transfer Tiger Pact

The Transfer Tiger Pact is a program that offers guaranteed admission and a clear pathway for Maryland Community College students to earn a bachelor’s degree from TU. This program provides specialized support and personalized advising to its participants, which includes individualized transition plans, credit evaluations, application waivers and campus experience at TU.

Degrees to Succeed

Degrees to Succeed is a partnership designed to help students complete their associate's degree at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) and transfer credits seamlessly to Towson University to earn their bachelor's degree. This program offers co-advising, pre-transfer services, access to the TU community and cool swag. Upon successful completion of the program and graduation from CCBC, participants are guaranteed admission to TU.

For more information about the program visit CCBC/TU Partnership page.

2+2 Articulation Agreements

Our 2+2 plans are created to help students achieve an associate's degree in 60 credits, followed by a bachelor's degree from Towson University (TU) in another 60 credits. These agreements provide a clear course-to-course pathway that students should follow and are only valid for the programs they are articulated for. Towson University has established agreements with several community colleges across Maryland.

For a list of our agreements please visit our 2+2 Articulation Agreements page.
