Transfer Tiger Pact
Transfer to Towson University seamlessly with personalized advising and specialized support.
Through the Transfer Tiger Pact, we provide Maryland community college students with guaranteed admission and a clear pathway to earn a bachelor’s degree from TU.
Individualized Transfer Plan and Support

We will guide you in transferring credits seamlessly and establishing a clear academic pathway to your degree.

Financial Assistance
The Transfer Tiger Pact will waive your application fee and you will be given priority consideration for our transfer scholarships.
Program Details
Eligibility
Students who meet any of the following criteria are eligible to participate in this program:

Currently attending or enrolled at a Maryland community college (no limit on credits earned)

Dual-admission students who earned credits from a Maryland community college
Program Requirements
Successful students in this program must meet the following requirements:
- Maintain enrollment in the program for at least one semester.
- Meet with TU co-advisor at least once in the semester immediately before applying to TU.
- Complete an online transfer application to TU during their last semester before transferring to TU.
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better.
- Meet specific admissions requirements for screened majors, if applicable.
*AP/IB credits can be used to satisfy math and English course requirements.
Once you meet the goals outlined in your individual transfer plan, you will receive guaranteed admission to Towson University.
