The Value of Mentoring and Professional Networking
In today’s changing healthcare environment, early careerists need skills and strategies to position themselves for the future. Data has shown that mentoring is an effective way to offer guidance and support for healthcare executives who are entering the field or who are seeking career advancement. A mentoring relationship provides a safe environment in which those with less experience may learn from experienced executives. This session will explore the value of mentoring relationships and the development of professional networks. Participants will learn how to prepare for a mentoring relationship and how to seek out a mentor, as well as learn a process to begin networking for career development.
The Benefits of Professional Organizations

The program will conclude with a 30 minute question-and-answer period.
