The DC College Access Act of 1999 provides tuition subsidies to Washington, D.C., residents to attend colleges and universities in Maryland.
DC Tuition Assistance Grant
The DC TAG Program pays the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition, up to $10,000 annually
at public colleges. Funds are limited. Apply early.
Application Process
- Review these eligibility requirements, which include DC residency requirements, age limits, and other requirements. You must be pursuing your first bachelor’s degree.
- Complete the DC OneApp by June 30, to receive priority funding. They will process applications received after June 30, on a funds available basis.
- Complete the FAFSA.
- Submit all the DC OneApp supporting documents.
