Employee Tuition Remission
Under certain conditions and restrictions, faculty, staff and their spouses and dependent children are eligible for tuition remission at the 11 institutions of the University System of Maryland (USM) as well as Morgan State University, St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Baltimore City Community College, based on USM policies. These policies govern tuition remission benefits at Towson University.
Tuition remission guidelines, deadlines and application forms are available online from the Office of Human Resources. Applications will only be processed within the term for which a tuition remission is requested. All signatures must be secured on the remission form before any reduction will be allowed toward tuition.
The tuition remission only satisfies the tuition cost. Mandatory university fees, technology fees and other miscellaneous fees are to be satisfied by the bill payment due date that appears on the billing statement. Questions about the posting of the tuition remission to the financial account may be directed to the Student & University Billing Office.
