Memberships
Campus Rec offers unlimited access to our facilities with a valid membership. We offer student memberships, complimentary faculty/staff memberships, household, retiree, affiliate, and alumni memberships. Student memberships are included with university fees. Some special programs may have a fee associated with access.
Faculty and Staff Membership
Current Faculty and Staff of Towson University are eligible for Faculty/Staff Memberships to Campus Recreation.
Cost
Faculty and Staff of the University are currently able to receive a complimentary membership.
Access
Faculty and Staff Members have access to the following:
- Burdick Pool
- Campus Recreation Center (Rec Center, Sprint Hill, Warrior Course)
- Climbing Wall
- Equipment Rental
- Group Exercise Classes
- Gymnasiums
- Intramural Sports (Must purchase Play Pass for seasons and tournaments)
- Locker Rental with Towel Service (based on availability; additional costs associated)
- Multi-Activity Courts
- Outdoor Adventure Trips
- Personal Training Sessions (additional costs associated)
How to Activate a Membership
-Visit our registration portal HERE and select the "Fac/Staff Complimentary Membership" icon, and sign in to your account

Alumni Membership
Alumni from Towson University are eligible for Alumni Memberships to Campus Recreation.
Cost
Memberships to TU Campus Rec are offered to TU Alumni at $41 per month.
Memberships include access to the entire recreation center including, a 33‐foot climbing wall, an 8‐lane Pool, 70+ Group Fitness classes per week, and much more!

Alumni members have access to the following:

- Climbing Wall
- Equipment Rental
- Group Exercise Classes
- Gymnasiums
- Intramurals
- Locker Rental with Towel Service (based on availability; additional costs associated)

How to Purchase a Membership
Please complete the TU Campus Rec Alumni Member Interest Form to express your interest in becoming a TU Campus Rec Alumni member. Upon completion of this form, please allow up to 3 business days for verification. A Campus Rec staff member will be in contact with you to discuss next steps. Completing this form does not automatically give you a membership. Once you are verified, you will need to purchase a membership at the cost of $41 per month.
How to Renew a Membership
Visit our registration portal HERE, select the “membership” icon, and sign in to your account or purchase in-person at Membership & Guest Services in Burdick Hall during the office’s hours of operation.
Parking
The Alumni Membership does not include a parking permit. Contact Parking and Transportation Services to inquire about parking options (meter parking or parking permits) and hours.
Household Membership
Individuals that live in the same household as a current Campus Recreation member (student, faculty/staff, alumni, affiliate, TURFA) are eligible for a Household Membership to Campus Recreation.

Individuals will need to visit Membership & Guest Services inside of Burdick Hall during our hours of operation.
Please bring a government issued photo ID and proof of residency with you (lease, drivers’ license, bills, etc.).
The sponsoring member must also be present, and provide documentation that verifies residency.

Affiliate Membership
Who is Eligible?
This membership would be available to the following audiences:
- Towson University Volunteers
- Per TU policy, “Volunteer” shall mean a person who is appointed by and is authorized to perform services for the State of Maryland through the University. To qualify as a University Volunteer, a person must have completed the Towson University Volunteer Designation Form, be appointed by a University department and be properly licensed or authorized for the activities or practices (i.e. driver’s license, EMT, professional designation, etc.). A person remains a volunteer only for that period specified in the Volunteer Designation Form. Volunteers do not receive wages and are not in an employer/employee relationship with the University.
- Employees of Partner Companies at Towson University
- ABM
- Aramark
- Capstone
- Contractors, SPAR (Division of Strategic Partnerships & Applied Research) participants, and other parties
- All individuals must have a valid TU OneCard and TUID number to be eligible for this membership

Retirees of Towson University are eligible for a membership to Campus Recreation.

Any retiree of Towson University who meets the state definition of being a retiree.
