Image Block Hero (w/Caption) Snippet

The Image Block Hero (w/Caption) is the design snippet used for a horizontal photo placed at the top of a webpage. There is an option for adding a caption below the image. Use web image code “m.”

This is a DIY snippet. You can add it to your pages without assistance from Digital Strategy. Make sure to follow all standards outlined in this guide.

This snippet should only be used in the Main Content Region.

Required and Optional Fields

caption: optional
float: this field should not be changed (it indicates whether the image spans the full main content region or, for other snippets, sits to the right or left)

When to Use It

use for a webpage that needs more visual interest than just text alone

When to Use Something Else

If you want text to span around the image to the left or right use the Image Block Left or Right with Caption.
